About the position
Design and develop mechanical solutions for advanced milk harvesting technologies used in digital agriculture.
Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and sustainable smart milking products.
Support new product development and continuous improvement to enhance machine reliability, manufacturing efficiency, and animal welfare.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Design, develop, and validate mechanical components, assemblies, and complete system solutions for dairy farming applications.
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models and engineering documentation using Siemens NX within Teamcenter.
- Support laboratory and field testing to validate product performance and reliability.
- Apply structural analysis and fluid flow simulation to support product optimization.
- Use manufacturing process knowledge to improve manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and product quality.
- Maintain engineering and product-related data in enterprise systems such as SAP.
- Evaluate materials and chemical interactions affecting product performance and durability.
- Collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, service, and quality teams.
- Support international engineering activities in Germany, Canada, the USA, and New Zealand.
- Propose product and process improvements and present technical findings and recommendations.
