Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for ERP, HCM, SCM and third‑party systems.
- Create, manage, and secure REST and SOAP APIs, including OAuth2 and other security policies.
- Apply integration patterns such as synchronous, asynchronous, pub‑sub, file‑based, and event‑driven models.
- Utilize OIC adapters (REST, SOAP, DB, FTP, ERP, HCM, etc.) to connect cloud and on‑premise applications.
- Implement robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and exception recovery mechanisms.
- Optimize performance of high‑volume and long‑running integrations.
- Lead migration of legacy SOA/OSB integrations to OIC where applicable.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams for requirement gathering, testing, and production support.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and facilitate knowledge‑sharing sessions.
- Stay current with emerging iPaaS technologies (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft) and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle SaaS (ERP, HCM, SCM).
- Strong expertise in designing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs, including security standards.
- Proven knowledge of integration patterns and OIC adapters.
- Experience implementing error handling, monitoring, and performance tuning for integrations.
- Hands‑on migration experience from SOA/OSB to OIC (preferred).
- Exposure to cross‑platform integrations with Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, or AWS.
- Familiarity with other iPaaS tools such as Dell Boomi or MuleSoft (a plus).
- Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience in a technical team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., OIC) are a plus.
