Position Summary
Lead bottom-up consensus demand plans for categories within the cluster over an 18-month horizon.
Coordinate commercial and operational stakeholders to improve product availability, freshness, inventory, service levels, and market growth.
Support end-to-end operations efficiency through demand, supply, replenishment, and logistics planning.
Demand Planning
- Lead monthly business planning and pre-alignment and sign-off meetings with cluster, sales, customer development, and marketing teams.
- Use sellout and IMS data to build plans by category, district, and SKU and analyze sales-out bias.
- Develop baseline forecasts for new product launches and promotions using market size, pricing, competitor, and distribution inputs.
- Conduct price elasticity simulations and model volume scenarios across product portfolios.
Supply and Inventory
- Develop PIPO plans to avoid out-of-stocks and overstock based on planning outcomes, supply alerts, and prior performance.
- Coordinate with supply, clearance, logistics, and category planning teams to ensure timely supply, freshness, and optimum inventory.
- Assess sales landing and its impact on replenishment, full-year sales, and trade stock cover.
- Govern monthly pallet projections with warehouse and logistics stakeholders to ensure capacity and contingency planning.
Performance and Execution
- Monitor growth, tonnage, bias, stock cover, bad goods, service level, accuracy, and end-to-end cost KPIs.
- Coordinate promotional stock execution and support order fulfillment, out-of-stock reason coding, and corrective action plans.
- Maintain and communicate demand planning learning logs covering deviations from actual results.
- Contribute to bad goods reduction through stakeholder reviews, financial provisions, and escalation of risks.
Success Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain.
- At least two years of experience in demand planning.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Food and beverage background is a plus.
