Job Summary
The Associate Manager will lead a team of Structural and Thermal analysts while remaining hands-on with Structural and Thermal Analysis.
The role combines people leadership, engineering simulation, workflow management, AI/ML application, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Structural and Thermal analysts, provide technical guidance, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development.
- Define project scopes, estimate resources, manage timelines, and align deliverables with product-development milestones.
- Manage geometry preparation, meshing, physics modeling, post-processing, and report preparation.
- Apply AI/ML techniques to surrogate modeling, design optimization, and data-driven simulation insights where applicable.
- Interpret simulation results and provide engineering recommendations.
- Collaborate with design, testing, and manufacturing teams.
- Ensure simulation quality through validation, verification, and benchmarking.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related engineering field.
- At least 10–12 years of structural-analysis experience in aerospace or automotive industries, including two to three years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong understanding of strength of materials, conjugate heat transfer, numerical methods, and modeling techniques.
- Hands-on experience with static linear and nonlinear analysis and thermal analysis.
- Proficiency with Altair HyperMesh, OptiStruct or Nastran, and ANSYS Workbench.
- Experience applying AI/ML techniques to engineering problems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, conflict-resolution, and prioritization capabilities.

- The listed work location is the Bengaluru Northgate site in India.
