Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Structural and Thermal analysts, provide technical guidance, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development.
• Define project scopes, estimate resources, manage timelines, and align deliverables with product-development milestones.
• Manage geometry preparation, meshing, physics modeling, post-processing, and report preparation.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to surrogate modeling, design optimization, and data-driven simulation insights where applicable.
• Interpret simulation results and provide engineering recommendations.
• Collaborate with design, testing, and manufacturing teams.
• Ensure simulation quality through validation, verification, and benchmarking.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related engineering field.
• At least 10–12 years of structural-analysis experience in aerospace or automotive industries, including two to three years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of strength of materials, conjugate heat transfer, numerical methods, and modeling techniques.
• Hands-on experience with static linear and nonlinear analysis and thermal analysis.
• Proficiency with Altair HyperMesh, OptiStruct or Nastran, and ANSYS Workbench.
• Experience applying AI/ML techniques to engineering problems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, conflict-resolution, and prioritization capabilities.
