Responsibilities
- Manage arbitration matters from inception through to enforcement under various institutional and ad hoc arbitration rules
- Draft and review Statements of Claim, Statements of Defence, Replies, Rejoinders, witness statements, expert instructions, procedural applications, memorials, submissions, and correspondence
- Prepare legal opinions, memoranda, and strategic advice for clients
- Conduct detailed legal research on UAE law, comparative law, and international arbitration principles
- Assist with litigation proceedings before the UAE courts, including matters related to recognition, enforcement, and annulment of arbitral awards
- Prepare hearing bundles, chronologies, evidence, and case strategies
- Attend hearings, client meetings, expert conferences, and settlement negotiations
- Liaise with clients, experts, arbitral institutions, courts, government authorities, and external counsel
Requirements
- Law degree from a recognised university
- 3–5 years of post qualification legal experience, with substantial experience in arbitration and dispute resolution
- Previous experience with a reputable UAE law firm is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working on commercial arbitration matters
- Excellent English legal drafting and communication skills
- Strong analytical, research, and problem solving abilities
- Ability to independently manage multiple matters while meeting demanding deadlines
- Commercial awareness and excellent client management skills

- We are seeking a talented Associate Lawyer with 3–5 years of UAE legal experience to join our growing Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice.
