Role Description
UST is seeking an Associate II - Data Science professional to support client transformation through data analytics and data science capabilities.
The source describes the role as part of UST's broader technology and transformation organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Apply exploratory data analysis to data analytics work.
- Manipulate, analyze, and model data using Python and PySpark.
- Work with large datasets in Databricks.
- Create visualizations and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau.
- Use statistical knowledge to understand data distributions and anomalies.
- Support company values and comply with company policies and procedures.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in a data analytics role with a strong focus on exploratory data analysis.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and PySpark for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
- Hands-on experience working with large datasets within Databricks.
- Demonstrated ability to create visualizations and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau.
- Strong statistical knowledge and an intuitive understanding of data distributions and anomalies.
