Role Overview
CCI’s Data Science and Technology team builds high-performance systems and tools for commercial decision-making in global energy commodity markets.
The role develops cloud-native infrastructure, real-time analytics, back-testing engines, third-party integrations, and internal libraries.
The position offers the opportunity to build software with direct commercial impact for front-office teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with traders and analysts on trading processes, analytical models, and systematic strategies.
- Build scalable Python services and APIs for analytics.
- Support supply and demand models, market data analysis, and strategy research.
- Create cloud-native real-time analytics, visualization interfaces, and workflow automation for the Front Office platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
- 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong data structures, algorithms, and software design fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Python for backend services, APIs, and data processing.
- Front-end experience with React, Angular, or TypeScript is strongly preferred.
