Position Summary
The Client Engineer works on a game development team to create compelling game experiences for SG products.
The role implements, debugs, modifies, and supports in-game features and development and operational tools.
The position requires independent technical work and effective communication and collaboration.
Job Location
- Commerzone IT Tech Park, Yerwada, Pune.
Required Experience
- One to two years of software development experience.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, including its quirks and workarounds.
- Experience with data structures in JavaScript or another programming language.
- Basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 web markup.
- Experience with IDEs, debuggers, and bug tracking tools.
- Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git, CVS, or SVN.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming techniques and languages.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain client-side code for desktop and mobile games.
- Work on client-server applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
- Contribute to new games and different game features.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as React, AngularJS, jQuery, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience in Java, C++, Python, or another programming language.
- Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Grunt.
- Distributed client-server development experience.
- Game development experience.
- UI development and animation experience.
