About the Role

The Associate in the FIG R&A team performs end-to-end research, analysis, and credit management for complex financial institution clients.

The clients include banks and non-bank financial institutions, and the role works closely with global Relationship and Risk teams.

The role is located in Bengaluru and is permanent and full time.

Core Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality Annual Review Credit Memorandums for financial institution clients.
  • Prepare Financial Monitoring Diary Notes, Risk Grade Review Events, and other industry-specific analyses.
  • Apply internal group policies, procedures, and processes to credit management activities.
  • Build relationships with Business, Relationship Managers, R&A Associates, and Risk Executives.
  • Ensure key risks are recognized and thoughtfully mitigated in credit proposals.
  • Participate in risk management forums and provide portfolio and industry updates.
  • Complete other credit management activities identified by the team.

Candidate Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in FIG Research and Analysis with strong credit analysis skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, governance, and process discipline.
  • Sound risk awareness and judgment, including the ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Excellent communication and ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work with team members, in-country teams, Relationship Managers, Risk teams, and clients.
