Job Overview

  • The Associate Field Engineer utilizes existing Field Engineering procedures to solve routine or standard problems.
  • They receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others within the team.
  • They leverage conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures related to Field Engineering and Engineering.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards within the EPCI industry.
  • Perform regular field visits to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues or deviations from design, and propose corrective actions.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Generate accurate and detailed reports, including site progress updates, technical evaluations, and quality control assessments.
  • Contribute to the development of detailed project execution plans, including engineering deliverables, construction schedules, and commissioning activities.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges on site, offering innovative solutions to mitigate risks and optimize project performance.
  • Adhere to all HSE policies and guidelines, promoting a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, as well as internal quality management systems.
  • Provide technical support to both internal team members and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.

Essential Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in the EPCI industry.
  • Familiarity with project execution practices and engineering processes.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
  • Understanding of engineering principles, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards within the EPCI industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration within cross functional teams.
