Role Overview
The Associate, Execution supports credit underwriting, portfolio management and transaction execution for large private companies, public corporations and private equity-backed businesses.
The role reports to the Head of Credit Execution for Western Canada and offers increasing ownership of underwriting and financing activities.
Workplace and Contract
- The position has a hybrid work environment with days in the office and at home.
- The position is permanent and is based in Calgary or Vancouver.
- Occasional travel for client and team meetings is required.
Credit and Portfolio Management
- Own underwriting activities for an assigned portfolio, including annual reviews, covenant monitoring, risk ratings, portfolio assessments and emerging-risk identification.
- Prepare financial analysis, models, borrower assessments and credit submissions for reviews, renewals, amendments and new lending opportunities.
- Manage ongoing client dialogue regarding reporting requirements, covenant compliance and portfolio monitoring.
