Associate Engineer - Field Service

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Respond professionally to assigned service calls.
• Perform all work safely and according to company policy, current codes, and applicable legislation.
• Support a planned maintenance completion rate of at least 90%.
• Keep scheduling teams informed of schedule changes and open-job status.
• Maintain accurate customer listings and report site changes.
• Close Oracle Mobile Field Service tasks and complete weekly paperwork accurately.
• Create FieldDB reports and ensure regular synchronization.
• Report sales and service leads through the correct process.
• Use email and Office programs to support communication processes.
• Follow Vertiv processes and support business needs.
• Maintain the company vehicle and protect issued tools and property.
• Participate actively in the callout rota.

Required Qualifications

• NVQ Level 1 and 2, or equivalent, in refrigeration and air conditioning.
• City and Guilds 2078 or 2079 in refrigerant safe handling.
• Subscription to ACRIB is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent computer skills are preferred.
• Previous environmental service experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are preferred.
• Effective planning, organization, and time management are preferred.
• A clean valid driving license is preferred.

Field Work

• The role requires 90% travel.
• The work involves field service calls, customer sites, company vehicles, and emergency callouts.
