Associate Director - Projects

Requirements

• BE/BTech (Civil) from leading university
• PG degree in Construction Management is a plus
• Minimum 15-20 years of hands-on experience in the building construction industry in a management position, with leadership responsibility in a large-scale project from start to completion.
• Experience of residential projects
• Experiences both as contractor and as owner’s representative (or PMC)
• Good ability to read drawings and communicate with designers
• Excellent planning skills with hands-on experience preparing baseline schedule and trackers
• Good understanding of commercial activities (tendering, contracts) and management of sub-contractors
• Good knowledge of construction methods and quality control for all trades
• Strong leadership skills and ability to drive and deliver the project as per objectives.
• Ability to work autonomously
• Good interpersonal and communication skills – ability to motivate and lead the project team, assign individual objectives, and develop team’s skills
• Good command of written English and ability to prepare clear, concise reports for client and management
