Role Overview
Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management services for key clients and complex construction portfolios.
The role provides leadership, client interface, commercial delivery, and direction across data center, commercial, industrial, public sector, and other capital projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead cost management teams and interface with clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and owner representatives throughout project stages.
- Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, change management, commercial reporting, and project controls across construction commissions.
- Improve cost management processes and implement company business management systems, delivery methodologies, and best practices.
- Manage staff performance, team strategy, coaching, mentoring, talent development, and service delivery.
- Track commission margins, fee and resource forecasts, financial reports, KPIs, risk mitigation, and management controls.
- Advise on contracting and procurement strategy and support capital planning and reporting.
- Develop client relationships, identify cross-selling and business generation opportunities, and contribute to proposals and RFP responses.
- Coordinate audits, knowledge management, presentations, networking, weekly status reporting, and internal stakeholder communications.
