Role Overview
The Associate Data Engineer will build and maintain core data pipelines and analytics models for the platform.
The role supports cloud data infrastructure, high-volume transactional datasets, production transformations, and data accuracy for business-critical applications.
The team uses AI-assisted development tools while expecting engineers to review, debug, and own deployed code.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dbt models, write transformations, establish data tests, and follow modeling conventions.
- Develop and operate Python ELT pipelines using relational databases, APIs, and event streams.
- Assist with cloud data platform maintenance, upgrades, reconciliation, schema migrations, and metric validation.
- Implement freshness, volume, and anomaly checks to prevent stale or corrupted data from reaching stakeholders.
