Requirements
- Essential
- A degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 1.5 years experience with SQL, data warehousing in a RDBMS (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL).
- Good understanding of Data Modelling concepts and techniques.
- Experience building and scheduling ETL workflows.
- Experience with a cloud database management system like Snowflake.
- Good experience writing high quality, maintainable SQL on large datasets.
- Experience with cloud-based architecture (e.g. AWS, Azure).
- Experience using Git and version control tools (e.g. Github, Sourcetree, Bitbucket)
- Experience in working in an agile methodology.
- Positive team player who is keen to learn new technologies and progress.
- Willingness to work directly with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear actions.
- Excellent problem solving skills with good attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently when required.
- Desirable
- Python programming skills, any experience developing python-based data engineering solutions.
- Experience working with Dbt Cloud.
- Experience with a data data visualisation tool (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Thoughtspot).
