What you'll be doing
Helping to develop and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and other reporting tools.
Writing SQL queries to extract, validate and analyse data, with support from more experienced analysts.
Supporting stakeholders with reporting requests and helping translate business questions into analytical outputs.
Performing data quality checks and investigating data issues to ensure reporting accuracy.
Working closely with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Business Analysts and wider business teams on reporting and analytical initiatives.
Contributing to continuous improvements in reporting solutions, dashboards and team processes.
Building your understanding of business processes, data structures and analytical best practices.
What we're looking for
We're interested in candidates who can demonstrate either:
A degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology or a related discipline; or
Up to 12 months of commercial experience in a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, BI Analyst or similar role.
In addition, you'll have:
A basic understanding of SQL and experience writing simple queries.
Exposure to Tableau, Power BI or another data visualisation tool through work, university projects, placements or personal projects.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and an interest in working with data.
Good communication skills
A willingness to learn new technologies, tools and analytical techniques.
