Overview
- Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Corporate Counsel to join our legal team.
- You will play a key role in supporting our rapidly growing Quick Commerce business and Real Estate initiatives across the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, and South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advice and support to business teams on a wide range of matters related to quick commerce, logistics, dark store operations, and retail real estate.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including but not limited to, leases, service agreements, construction contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Advise on legal and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions within the MENA, Turkey, and South Africa regions.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes and claims.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business development, operations, finance, and other legal teams.
- Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments affecting the company's business in the relevant regions.
