About the Role
MTN Dubai Limited is hiring an Associate for Category Sourcing to support the development of sourcing frameworks, manage RFx processes, and collaborate with demand planning and strategic category leads.

Responsibilities
- Support the development of the MTN Category Sourcing framework and practices
- Collaborate with Demand Planning team and provide input into demand plan for respective category
- Provide assistance to Principal strategic category with inputs on best market practices through market research
- Manage end to end preparation and execution of RfX within boundaries and targets
- Assist in negotiation and determination of optimal suppliers to award contracts
- Ensure effective cost management through challenging supplier pricing
- Drive preparation of SOW and Business Requirements in guidance with Principal Strategic Category
- Liaise with associate supplier performance & contract management for contract formulation
- Support respective Principal strategic category on strategy development
- Prepare periodic reports on category savings and report to stakeholders
Requirements
- 3 7 years of experience in category sourcing or procurement
- Experience in end to end RFx preparation and execution
- Knowledge of supply market structure and dynamics
- Ability to assist in negotiation and determination of optimal suppliers
- Experience in cost management and challenging supplier pricing
- Familiarity with SOW and Business Requirements preparation

Key Activities & Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the Demand Planning team and provide input into the forecasting, planning and development of the demand plan for the respective category
- Provide assistance to the Principal strategic category with inputs on best market practices through market research
- Manage the end to end preparation and execution of RfX within boundaries and targets set by respective Principal strategic category
- Assist in negotiation & determination of optimal suppliers to award the respective contracts
- Ensure effective cost management through challenging supplier pricing where appropriate
- Drive the preparation of SOW and Business Requirements in guidance with the respective Principal Strategic Category
- Liaise with associate supplier performance & contract management and provide the RfX evaluation results for initiating contract formulation
- Support respective Principal strategic category on strategy development
