Role Overview
HSBC is seeking a Research Associate to join its Institutional Equities team.
The role supports a seasoned writing lead analyst covering Metals & Mining, Cement, and Defence sector stocks in India.

Its global research platform covers companies, economies, sovereign rates, currencies, economics, fixed income, and equities.
Research and Modeling
- Conduct detailed company analysis and develop a broader macro-level view of the covered sectors.
- Use primary and secondary research to build and maintain industry models.
- Assist in building and maintaining company financial models.
- Identify key industry trends and investment ideas within the assigned research scope.
Research Products and Stakeholders
- Assist the writing analyst in producing industry thematic research, company initiations, and periodic coverage updates.
- Engage with senior stakeholders in covered sectors and the fund management industry.
- Build relationships with industry experts and use those relationships to strengthen research.
