WSP is seeking an Associate / Associate Director – Technical Architect to join its UAE team.
The role leads technical delivery for major multidisciplinary projects across the UAE and wider Middle East region.
The position provides technical leadership across design and project delivery while ensuring architectural excellence, compliance, constructability, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical architectural design and delivery from concept through construction.
- Provide guidance on building systems, materials, detailing, coordination, and technical compliance.
- Review and approve architectural deliverables against project requirements, quality standards, and local regulations.
- Coordinate structural, MEP, landscape, and specialist disciplines for integrated design solutions.
- Lead technical reviews, design audits, and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, international codes, and client standards.
- Mentor architects and provide leadership to project teams.
- Support programme, risk, resources, and technical performance management.
- Interface with clients, authorities, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to business development, proposals, and strategic client engagements when required.
