We offer holistic solutions that aim to protect and grow our client's wealth and strive towards having a positive impact and building legacies for our clients and generations to come.

We follow a holistic client-centric approach to deeply understand our client’s needs to offer the best solutions.

NBK Wealth is seeking a seasoned legal professional to join its growing Dubai platform at the AVP/VP level.

This is a high-impact role within a leading regional financial institution, offering the opportunity to provide strategic legal counsel on complex, cross-border transactions across global markets.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business teams, with a particular focus on alternative investments and real assets related legal matters, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex, high-value transaction documentation across asset classes, including alternatives, private markets, and real assets.
  • Provide expert legal advice on investment structuring, joint ventures, co-investments, and strategic partnerships, with a strong emphasis on cross-border transactions, particularly in Western jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external counsel to ensure robust risk management and protection of NBK Wealth’s interests.
  • Support the development and launch of investment platforms and products, ensuring alignment with regulatory and legal frameworks.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Law degree from a reputable institution; UK Solicitor or equivalent international qualification preferred.
  • 8–12 years of relevant experience at a leading law firm or financial institution, with a focus on asset management, private markets, or alternative investments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in structuring and advising on legal matters related to real asset investments (e.g., real estate, infrastructure).
  • Strong technical skills in drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements in English.
  • Solid understanding of structured finance, credit, and real estate transactions.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Prior experience leading transactions and, at AVP/VP level, managing junior team members or external advisors.

Candidate Profile

  • Commercially astute, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Confident operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across the business.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
  • **Only applicants who meet the strict criteria outlined above will be contacted as part of the shortlisting process.*
