Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the global real-time in-platform administration, ensuring efficient and secure data management practices.
- Oversee data migrations, governance, and performance optimization, utilizing your expertise in big data platforms and cloud services.
- Drive data-driven innovation by identifying and implementing cutting-edge technologies and strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on data-related projects and ensure successful delivery.
- Mentor and guide a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in big data and cloud technologies, and incorporate them into our strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of our data.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights on data management initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, promoting a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in big data platforms such as Cloudera/Hadoop, Spark, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in data management tools and programming languages, including Python, SQL, Kafka, and Airflow.
- Proven experience in leading and managing data-related projects, with a track record of successful deliveries.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of data professionals.
- Deep understanding of data governance, data migrations, and performance optimization techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and innovative thinking.
