Role overview
Assistant Vice President responsible for specialist derivative support across investment operations middle-office clients.
The role covers exchange-traded futures and options, over-the-counter derivatives, repurchase agreements, and contract for difference products.
The role manages a team handling trade matching, margin management, and derivative lifecycle management.
Core responsibilities
- Ensure procedures and checklists meet audit, regulatory, operational risk, and control requirements.
- Complete complex exception reporting and rectify errors promptly.
- Reassess operational risks arising from market, regulatory, procedural, organizational, and technology changes.
- Coordinate system enhancements and automation with Information Technology.
- Implement client change requests, including fund onboarding, custody transfers, and new derivative products.
- Resolve client queries, provide expert advice, and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, counterparties, and custodians.
- Resolve reconciliation items and complete accurate client reporting within deadlines.
- Maintain management information, KPI statistics, internal controls, and audit or regulatory actions.
