DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: Assist Technical Section Leader in their duties. Carry out maintenance of the rig?s mechanical equipment and piping systems according to the maintenance program (SAMS and checklists). Carry out required repairs on mechanical equipment and piping systems. Ensure that all mechanical equipment and systems are in a first-class state from a safety and operational point of view. Assist Electrician, as required, in the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, in coordination with Technical Section Leader. Assist Drilling Section Leader, as required, in the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment, in coordination with Technical Section Leader. Assist OIM/ Marine Section Leader, as required, in connection with anchor handling, in coordination with Technical Section Leader. Assist Engine Room Operator, as required, in connection with major repairs/overhauls of the main engine, emergency engine and associated equipment, in coordination with Technical Section Leader. Assist Materials Administrator in connection with stocking mechanical parts. Familiarize themself with and fulfill their obligations in connection with emergencies according to the procedures and safety plan. Observe to uncover any non-compliance and immediately report these to their superior. Responsible for ensuring that all work is done safely and professionally and actively take part in safety meetings and other meetings. Emergency duties according to the unit?s emergency organization.
