Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in managing and operating the iPay retail store.
The role focuses on customer service, sales performance, store associates, store standards, and team productivity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences, resolve inquiries and complaints, and support customer retention.
- Participate in sales activities, coach associates on selling techniques, and contribute to store KPIs and targets.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory, stock replenishment, and product displays.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, visual merchandising standards, and safety and security requirements.
- Guide associates, delegate tasks, and foster a productive and positive work environment.
- Analyze daily and weekly sales data, identify trends, recommend action plans, and help prepare performance reports.
- Conduct store audits and communicate with the Store Manager, Sales Executives, upper management, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Three to five years of retail experience, including one to two years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Experience with visual merchandising, loss prevention, and sales reporting.
- Familiarity with retail KPIs and performance-driven environments.
