Role Overview
The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and leads key aspects of the Pacific Centre store business.
The role balances store operations, business performance, customer experience, and people development.
The role supports growth across People, Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Community outreach.
What You'll Do
- Attract, hire, train, develop, and retain retail team members.
- Create succession strategies, administer reviews, set goals, and provide feedback to direct reports.
- Partner with the Store Manager on annual and quarterly strategic plans.
- Achieve revenue, growth, traffic, conversion, loyalty, and labour performance targets.
- Ensure team members have product knowledge for intentional customer recommendations.
- Maintain presentation standards and act on merchandising opportunities.
- Deliver excellent community member service and grow the business through outreach.
- Coach teams, model company values, and create an inclusive environment.
Candidate Profile
- Retail experience and proven sales-floor leadership are required.
- The role requires strong leadership, business acumen, analytical skills, and a track record of business results.
