Job Purpose
Support management of on-site security for employees, contractors, and the property.
Direct third-party security personnel and work with department heads to deliver a safe client experience.
Ensure compliance with local safety legislation and emergency procedures.
Security Operations
- Implement and monitor the security team’s strategy, objectives, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Direct and coordinate third-party security team activities.
- Organize patrols of boundaries, offices, storage areas, public areas, and function rooms.
- Provide security assistance and advice to other departments.
- Maintain positive professional relationships with military and government entities.
Emergency and Investigations
- Prepare incident reports and follow up on allegations.
- Plan and facilitate regular employee security awareness training.
- Assist with emergency management and contingency planning.
- Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, and intrusion alarms.
- Prepare reports or presentations on investigations, losses, and policy or regulatory violations.
- Support identification, investigation, and resolution of security breaches.
