About the Role
Samsung SDS is hiring an Assistant Sales Manager to achieve sales KPIs, develop customer portfolios, and close new business opportunities in logistics/freight forwarding. The role requires 5+ years of sales experience in the industry and a self-starter mindset.

Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned monthly/quarterly sales KPI targets (revenue, margin, volume)
- Develop and expand own customer portfolio through proactive prospecting and personal network
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities independently
- Conduct field sales activities including customer visits, presentations, and commercial negotiations
- Prepare and submit quotations in coordination with pricing and operations teams
- Maintain accurate sales data, pipeline updates, and weekly WIN/LOSS reporting
- Provide weekly sales activity and performance reports to management using Sales Force
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years experience in logistics / freight forwarding sales
- Existing customer network highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Can join immediately (visit visa or short notice availability preferred)

Job Description
- Achieve assigned monthly/quarterly sales KPI targets (revenue, margin, volume).
- Develop and expand own customer portfolio through proactive prospecting and personal network.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities independently (cold/warm market development).
- Build and manage a self generated sales pipeline with clear conversion accountability.
- Conduct field sales activities including customer visits, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Prepare and submit quotations in coordination with pricing and operations teams.
- Convert new accounts into active revenue generating customers and ensure initial onboarding execution.
- Maintain accurate sales data, pipeline updates, and weekly WIN/LOSS reporting.
- Provide weekly sales activity and performance reports to management using Sales Force.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong ability to independently identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Result driven mindset with strong ownership of KPI and revenue targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with clients at all levels.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with pricing, operations, and internal support teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years experience in logistics / freight forwarding sales.
- Can join immediately (preferred: visit visa or short notice availability).
- Existing customer network is highly preferred (self generated business capability required).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Junior mid level position.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from sales and customers.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management.
