Position Overview

Sales and Guest Service

• Contact Sales, Data Administration, Accounting, or other departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Use sales techniques and upselling to maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty.
• Determine and provide complimentary rewards points, show tickets, or gift certificates for guest patronage.
• Promote brand awareness internally and externally.
• Process Marriott Rewards redemption requests.
• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software when taking reservations.
• Answer, record, and process guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns.

Team and Office Support

• Perform filing, email, typing, faxing, and other general office duties supporting Sales and Marketing.
• Assist management in training and motivating employees and serve as a role model.
• Monitor employee performance for adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Follow company policies, protect confidential information and company assets, and maintain professional presentation.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, address concerns, and build positive working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
• At least 2 years of related work experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
• No supervisory experience is required according to the source.
