Job Summary
Assist with soliciting and handling sales opportunities.
Ensure business is turned over properly and promptly for service delivery.
Assist with day-to-day sales activities, build long-term customer relationships, and achieve personal sales goals.
Education and Experience
- A two-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major plus two years of relevant experience is accepted.
- A four-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major with no work experience is also accepted.
Relationship Building and Sales
- Coordinate with off-property sales channels to ensure complementary sales efforts.
- Build relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.
- Develop community relationships to expand the customer base.
- Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Provide accurate and effective turnover to Event Management.
- Participate in sales calls to acquire new business and close business.
- Support proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence for booked business.
