Assistant Sales Manager

Position Summary

Core Responsibilities

• Contact Sales, Data Administration, Accounting, or other departments to resolve guest requests and problems.
• Use upselling and other sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
• Process reservation requests, changes, cancellations, and Marriott Rewards information.
• Answer and record guest calls, questions, requests, and concerns.
• Perform filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and other office duties for Sales and Marketing.
• Assist with employee training and motivation and monitor adherence to quality standards.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
• Follow company policies, protect confidential information and company assets, and perform other assigned duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
• At least 2 years of related work experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
• No supervisory experience is listed.
• No license or certification is listed.
