Assistant Retail Operations Manager

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of two retail store locations
• Manage and support store staff, including scheduling, supervision, and team coordination
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and service recovery professionally
• Monitor and manage stock replenishment to ensure product availability
• Coordinate stock transfers between store locations when required
• Maintain high standards of in-store customer service and overall customer experience
• Collect and report customer feedback and assist in improving service quality
• Coordinate and follow up on store maintenance and operational issues
• Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation standards are consistently maintained
• Assist in implementing operational procedures and company policies
• Support management with reporting, store performance monitoring, and operational improvements
• Take initiative in solving day-to-day operational challenges and improving workflow efficiency

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail operations or a similar sector within Dubai
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely when required
• Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and manage operations across multiple locations
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or spreadsheet software
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• UAE driving license and ability to drive in Dubai is a plus
