The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports daily operations for a hotel dining outlet.
The role focuses on outstanding guest service, restaurant profitability, and memorable hospitality experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist with directing and administering restaurant operations.
- Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, discipline, and evaluate restaurant staff.
- Schedule staff and direct work assignments.
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards and ensure equipment is operational.
- Inspect facilities, implement corrective actions, and oversee repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor food quality, preparation, guest satisfaction, and service standards.
- Obtain guest feedback and resolve complaints.
- Forecast inventory usage and monitor restaurant supplies.
- Oversee dining and service area setup.
- Support marketing efforts, menu ideas, competition surveys, food trend reporting, and specials.
- Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
