Role Overview
Assistant Restaurant Manager supporting daily operations and guest experiences in the Muru hotel dining outlet.
The role assists with restaurant administration, guest service, financial profitability, and operational standards.
Restaurant Operations
- Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, discipline, and evaluate restaurant staff.
- Schedule staff and direct work assignments for efficient restaurant operations.
- Ensure sanitation and safety standards are followed for guests and employees.
- Inspect equipment and facilities, implement improvements, and oversee repair and maintenance work orders.
- Monitor food quality, preparation methods, temperatures, presentation, and service standards.
- Interact with guests, obtain feedback, and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner.
- Forecast inventory usage and monitor supplies needed for customer service.
- Oversee setup of dining and service areas.
- Participate in marketing efforts, create menu ideas, survey competition, report food trends, and assist with specials.
- Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
