Role Overview

TheySee is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager / Floor Supervisor to support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, a hands-on approach, and the ability to lead the floor in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
  • Supervise floor operations, table management, timely service, and guest experience.
  • Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff.
  • Brief the team on reservations, menu updates, and operational requirements before service.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service standards.
  • Welcome guests, handle feedback, and resolve concerns professionally.
  • Assist with scheduling, attendance, and daily task allocation.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain service flow.
  • Assist with sales reporting, POS operations, cash handling, and administrative duties.
  • Support inventory management and maintain operational supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Help drive sales and support operational efficiency and business goals.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of restaurant operations experience, preferably in a full-service restaurant.
  • Previous Floor Supervisor, Captain, Senior Captain, or Assistant Restaurant Manager experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service, guest handling, and floor operations is required.
  • Experience with POS systems, staff coordination, and daily reporting is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and hospitality best practices is required.
  • A hands-on approach, attention to detail, and service excellence are expected.
