Position Summary
Ensure staff work together as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs.
Support restaurant operations, guest satisfaction, quality standards, safety, inventory, and workplace efficiency.
Restaurant Operations
- Inspect staff grooming and attire and rectify deficiencies.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including supplies setup, equipment cleaning, and securing doors.
- Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO use, and cleanliness.
- Complete scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
- Complete maintenance work orders.
People and Guest Service
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
