Job Details
Assistant Restaurant Manager position in the Food and Beverage and Culinary category.
The role supports restaurant, bar, and applicable room service operations at a Four Points by Sheraton location in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The schedule is full time and the position type is management.
Restaurant Team Management
- Handle employee questions and concerns and monitor employees against performance expectations.
- Provide feedback based on observed service behaviors and assist with daily shift supervision.
- Supervise the restaurant and related areas when the Director of Restaurants or Restaurant Manager is absent.
- Communicate departmental goals clearly and consistently in team meetings.
Daily Operations
- Ensure employees have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
- Communicate food quality and service issues to the Chef and Restaurant Manager.
- Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, standards, and procedures.
- Monitor alcohol beverage service for compliance with local laws.
- Manage operations to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
- Perform restaurant employee duties as necessary and open and close restaurant shifts.
