Position Overview
The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports restaurant, bar, and room-service operations where applicable.
The role assists with daily supervision, menu planning, sanitation standards, guest satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and peak-period floor operations.
Work Arrangement
- The position is full time.
- The position is not remote and is based at the Marriott property in Goregaon East, Mumbai.
Education and Experience
- Either a high school diploma or GED plus four years of food and beverage, culinary, or related professional experience is required.
- Alternatively, a two-year degree in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or a related major plus two years of related experience is required.
Restaurant Team Management
- Handle employee questions and concerns and monitor employees against performance expectations.
- Provide feedback based on observed service behaviors.
- Assist with supervising daily shift operations and supervise restaurant areas when senior restaurant leaders are absent.
- Communicate clear and consistent departmental goals in team meetings.
