Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Assist with cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads.
• Compile tender documents, bills of quantities, and pricing schedules.
• Monitor contract compliance and assist with variations and claims.
• Conduct site measurements and verify quantities against drawings and specifications.
• Prepare reports on costs, progress, and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
• Maintain records of costs, variations, and correspondence.

Qualifications and requirements

• Degree or master's degree in quantity surveying.
• Minimum of eight years of experience.
• Mandatory experience with RTA, ALDAR, or DMT UAE authority projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to work independently on site and manage multiple work fronts.

Skills

• Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.

Compensation

• Salary is AED 8,000 to AED 9,500 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person in the UAE.
