Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads.
• Support tender documents, bills of quantities, and pricing schedules.
• Monitor contractual compliance and assist with variations and claims.
• Conduct site measurements and verify quantities against drawings and specifications.
• Prepare reports on project costs, progress, and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
• Maintain records of costs, variations, and correspondence.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree or master's degree in quantity surveying.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience.
• Mandatory experience on RTA, ALDAR, or DMT UAE authority projects.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to work independently on site and manage multiple work fronts.
