Assistant Project Manager

Saber Power Services, LLC, (SPS) is a nationally recognized full-service Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company based in Houston, TX. We specialize in complex medium and high voltage electrical infrastructure projects across North America, including engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our Turnkey Solutions group, managing all aspects of EPC substation projects. This position assists the Project Manager and other senior team members in all phases of project execution, from estimating and planning through construction and closeout. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction management or electrical infrastructure projects and a strong desire to grow into a leadership role within the EPC environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the Project Manager in managing substation EPC projects from pre-construction through final delivery.

Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

Track and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Participate in subcontractor and vendor coordination, including issuance of purchase orders and monitoring of performance.
