Assistant Project Manager - Growth

Support the planning, coordination and delivery of projects and workstreams across the Growth & Sector Development portfolio.

Maintain project documentation, performance information, risk registers and governance records to support effective delivery and decision-making.

Prepare reports, briefings, presentations and project updates for managers, boards and stakeholders.

Work with colleagues, local authorities, businesses and delivery partners to coordinate activity and ensure actions are progressed.

Support budget monitoring, procurement, contract management and grant administration activities.

Contribute to stakeholder engagement, consultation and communication activities that support successful project delivery.

Experience of supporting projects, programmes or workstreams within a professional environment.

Good knowledge of project management principles, tools and processes, with a desire to further develop your skills.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret information and present it clearly.

A proactive and positive approach, with a genuine interest in supporting growth, regeneration and economic development across South Yorkshire.
