General Information

The role supports the Woodfibre LNG Project in Squamish, British Columbia.

The position is permanent, full-time, and based on a 14-days-on, 7-days-off rotation with on-site work.

The listed annual compensation range is $100,000 to $129,000.

What You Will Do

  • Assist and guide the project team with coordination and project support.
  • Review, interpret, update, and follow up on construction schedules.
  • Maintain shop drawings, RFIs, material purchase orders, change notice quotes, and project completion documents.
  • Collect, review, and analyze project quotes with emphasis on obtaining competitive prices.
  • Demonstrate leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection on the project.
  • Apply project safety standards and applicable occupational health and safety acts, regulations, and codes.
  • Build positive relationships with subtrades, clients, trade partners, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Roughly six or more years of experience in the ICI construction industry is required.
  • A university degree or technology diploma in engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience, is required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project methodologies, financial management, building codes, and associated legislation is required.
  • A proven track record of project leadership and team collaboration is required.
  • The ability to build and nurture exceptional stakeholder relationships is required.
  • Availability for a 14-days-on, 7-days-off fly-in/fly-out rotation is required.

Work Arrangement

  • The role is performed on site in Squamish on a 14-days-on, 7-days-off fly-in/fly-out rotation.
  • Accommodation is provided at the Floatel.
