Role Overview

AECOM is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The role supports project management for continuous integration initiatives and coordinates collaboration between development and operations teams.

The position focuses on project timelines, documentation, process efficiency, CI/CD environments, and agile project management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating CI/CD pipeline projects and initiatives.
  • Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables with the project manager.
  • Maintain requirements, status reports, meeting notes, project files, schedules, and resource allocation records.
  • Coordinate development, operations, and stakeholder communication on CI objectives.
  • Monitor CI tool configurations, build processes, and deployment activities.
  • Identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and support CI best practices.
  • Prepare status updates and performance metrics.
  • Onboard team members to CI processes and tools.
  • Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in project coordination, assistant project management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and continuous integration practices.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and development environments.
  • Experience with at least one CI tool, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency with Git, SVN, or an equivalent version control system.
  • Strong organization, communication, analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
  • Experience with automation, DevOps, project management tools, and software testing is preferred.

  • Newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location.
