Assistant project lead - Civil Engineer

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Resolve contractor issues involving progress, access, interfaces, completion dates, and other construction matters.
• Ensure works follow the current construction plan and that material requirements reach purchasing on time.
• Ensure controlled staff follow current methods, standards, procedures, notices, requests for information, and project records.
• Review method statements and shop drawings produced for construction works before issue.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors to maintain clean work areas, safe access, and environmentally responsible conditions.
• Support planning, structural design follow-up, and timely submission of designs needed for execution.
• Prepare progress reports on progress, delays, concerns, and mitigation measures for client progress meetings.
