Requirements
- Minimum Level 4 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related discipline. Candidates working towards a relevant qualification will also be considered.
- 4+ years’ experience or exposure to electrical engineering, electrical installation, control panels, power systems, utilities, construction, manufacturing or a related technical environment.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles, electrical safety and the importance of working to drawings, specifications and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical information, with support and guidance where required.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions and develop technical knowledge through on-the-job experience and training.
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to manage tasks with guidance from project engineers and senior colleagues.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with colleagues, clients, contractors and suppliers.
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and project documentation.
- Basic awareness of health and safety requirements, RAMS, CDM principles and company procedures, or a willingness to develop this knowledge.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings and project delivery activities.
- Experience working in, or exposure to, a DNO, IDNO or ICP or electrical installation background.
- IOSH Working Safely or Managing Safely.
- Please note this role will require some business travel within the UK for client meetings, site visits and the management of on-site activities, where of course all costs (travel, accommodation subsistence) are paid.
