Assistant Professor in PR in Advertising

Abu Dhabi University is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Professor in Security and Strategic Affairs and International Political Economy to join the College of Arts, Education & Social Sciences.

This full-time faculty position is pivotal in delivering high-quality teaching and learning at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, while supporting students in achieving strong academic performance and holistic development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in security studies, strategic affairs, international political economy, international relations, and related areas using diverse pedagogical methods and effective instructional strategies.

Key responsibilities include preparing and updating course materials, assessing student performance, contributing to program coordination, supporting curriculum development, and ensuring alignment with academic standards and institutional learning outcomes.

The role also requires active engagement in research initiatives, scholarly publications, and knowledge development within local, regional, and international communities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong academic expertise, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a proven ability to contribute to teaching, research, and service.

A background in security studies, strategic affairs, international political economy, international relations, political science, or related fields is essential.

Candidates should have a relevant doctoral degree, strong teaching experience, and an active research profile in their area of specialization.

Experience in program coordination, academic advising, interdisciplinary collaboration, and community or policy engagement will be highly regarded.
