Position Summary
The Assistant Principal serves as a key member of the school leadership team, supporting the principal in driving academic achievement, strengthening school culture, and developing teacher and leader capacity. The Assistant Principal operates as an emerging school leader, building the skills and experience necessary for future principalship.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education • Master's degree in education or a related field required. Certification/License • Valid Georgia Professional Certification (Level 5 or higher) in a teaching or service field. • Valid Georgia Professional Certification (Level 5 or higher) in Educational Leadership. Experience • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a teacher, counselor, instructional coach, or similar role in a K-12 educational setting.
