Role Overview
The Assistant Operations Manager supports operational activities and facility development and maintenance at the Catoosa, Oklahoma facility.
The role works with the Operations Manager to keep the facility prepared to meet schedules and respond to operational opportunities.
Operations and Cost Control
- Assist with inventory control within company requirements.
- Help ensure the superintendent maintains operational costs at or below the cost control plan.
- Assist with facility improvements and their execution.
- Maximize mix and blend opportunities using in-house stocks, marketplace grain, and effective space allocation.
Maintenance and Sustainability
- Assist with scheduling preventive maintenance while maintaining a safe and reliable facility.
- Help implement energy conservation programs that reduce energy cost and consumption and enhance sustainability.
- Maintain asset security to minimize theft, property damage, vandalism, and trespassing.
People and Compliance
- Support talent development for operational staff to control costs and maintain uninterrupted facility operations.
